The trailer starts with a 58-year-old man who has just retired and looking to hop for his hobbies. Trying from Zumba, yoga, he is giving his best buy failing miserably. At last, he finds out cooking is his magic. Very soon, he comes across a woman looking for a cook to make food for the Satsang event, which turns out to be the kitty party. Here comes the twist as he starts making new friends, rollover emotions, etc.

In one of his videos, Ranbir Kapoor shared the tiffs and turned the Rishi Kapoor faced while shooting the movie. However, he has shot for the major part but could not complete it due to his ill health. The actor had a desperate urge to finish the movie but went in vain.
Various methods were tried, but the team were not able to make up with the right choice. Later, Paresh Rawal came as the knight in the armour. Paresh Rawal completed the rest of the movie. Also, this is the first time two different actors are playing the role of a character in Indian cinema. Sharmaji Namkeen will be riding on OTT, i.e.’ Amazon Prime – 31st March 2022.
